Slightly tangential to High-protein meal plans but CanadaChris reminded me — what is the latest on the oral formulations?

I know it is not exactly on-topic but it seems related enough to ask here rather than starting a new thread. Apologies if this has been covered — I did search first.

Relevant to High-protein meal plans for — here is my latest bloodwork comparison:

Key improvements: A1C 7.2% → 5.3%, triglycerides 191 → 91 mg/dL, hsCRP 6.0 → 0.9 mg/L. All on tirzepatide for 7 months.

The inflammatory marker drop is what impresses me most. Consistent with the SELECT trial's cardiovascular findings.

Want to share my personal experience related to High-protein meal plans for since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in October 2024 at 247 lbs with prediabetes and hypertension. My endocrinologist prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 18 months later: I am down 47 lbs, my labs have normalized, and I am off 2 of my 3 medications. The High-protein meal aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This community helped me every step of the way.

SleepDoc_PDX — that is really helpful context on High-protein meal plans. Follow-up question: did you experience any side effects during this phase?

I am in a similar situation (about to start) and trying to set realistic expectations.

Want to share my personal experience related to High-protein meal plans for since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in March 2025 at 264 lbs with metabolic syndrome. My telehealth provider prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 10 months later: I am down 54 lbs, my labs have normalized, and my sleep apnea has improved dramatically. The High-protein meal aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This forum was my go-to resource throughout.
