Cigna now covering Zepbound how I is not that straightforward in my experience

This is exactly right. Dr.ObesityMed articulated what I have been trying to explain to my friends for months. The Cigna now covering aspect is what made the difference for me.

Reading this thread on Cigna now covering hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 273 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.

9 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 48 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.

If you are on the fence about Cigna now covering — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️

Dr.BariatricHTX — that is really helpful context on Cigna now covering. Follow-up question: how long did you wait before increasing your dose?

I am in a similar situation (week 4) and trying to set realistic expectations.

To answer LindaRN_retired's question specifically:

From a clinical standpoint, Cigna now covering Zepbound is a reasonable concern that deserves a thorough answer.

The short answer: the evidence supports this approach for most patients.

The longer answer involves reviewing the specific clinical trial data relevant to your question, which I am happy to elaborate on if helpful.
