Okay I need help with this — prediabetic and scared - will this.

I have been dealing with this for weeks and I am getting frustrated. Googling just gives me contradictory information and my doctor does not seem to take it seriously.

Please tell me someone here has been through this and come out the other side. What did you do? What finally worked?

I know there are some really knowledgeable people on this forum so I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. 😩

Gonna push back on this one. Prediabetic and scared - will this is not that straightforward in my experience. I have been on this for 18 months and the reality is messier than the trials suggest.

Don't get me wrong — the medication works. But adherence is harder than people admit. We should be honest about that.

This is exactly right. CarlaRPh_TPA articulated what I have been trying to explain to my friends for months. The Prediabetic and scared - aspect is what made the difference for me.

I respect maya_sedona perspective but I think this oversimplifies things a bit. Re: Prediabetic and scared - will — the subgroup analyses show meaningful heterogeneity.

I am not saying maya_sedona wrong entirely — just that the picture is more nuanced than a blanket statement. The SURMOUNT data specifically shows baseline BMI-dependent responses.
