I respect bbq_ray_KC perspective but I think this oversimplifies things a bit. Re: My insurance FINALLY approved — the effect size varies considerably by population.

I am not saying bbq_ray_KC wrong entirely — just that the picture is more nuanced than a blanket statement. The SURMOUNT data specifically shows baseline BMI-dependent responses.

Reading this thread on My insurance FINALLY hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 293 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.
