Relevant to The GLP Lounge Community Rules — here is my latest bloodwork comparison:

Key improvements: A1C 7.2% → 5.3%, triglycerides 219 → 119 mg/dL, hsCRP 6.0 → 1.3 mg/L. All on tirzepatide for 11 months.

The inflammatory marker drop is what impresses me most. Consistent with the SELECT trial's cardiovascular findings.

Want to share my personal experience related to The GLP Lounge Community Rules since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in October 2024 at 245 lbs with prediabetes and hypertension. My endocrinologist prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 18 months later: I am down 40 lbs, my labs have normalized, and I am off 2 of my 3 medications. The The GLP Lounge aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This community helped me every step of the way.

OP here — wow, did not expect this much response! Thank you all for the thoughtful replies on The GLP Lounge Community.

To answer Admin: I get my labs done through Quest every 3 months.

Quick update: my latest labs came back even better. Thanks again for the evidence-based discussion — this is exactly why I posted in a science-based community. 🙏

LabKate — that is really helpful context on The GLP Lounge Community. Follow-up question: did you change anything about your diet at the same time?

I am in a similar situation (month 2) and trying to set realistic expectations.
