Want to share my personal experience related to The GLP Lounge Community Rules since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in March 2025 at 270 lbs with metabolic syndrome. My telehealth provider prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 8 months later: I am down 85 lbs, my labs have normalized, and my sleep apnea has improved dramatically. The The GLP Lounge aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This forum was my go-to resource throughout.

Relevant to The GLP Lounge Community Rules — here is my latest bloodwork comparison:

Key improvements: A1C 7.2% → 5.3%, triglycerides 231 → 101 mg/dL, hsCRP 6.0 → 1.3 mg/L. All on tirzepatide for 11 months.

The inflammatory marker drop is what impresses me most. Consistent with the SELECT trial's cardiovascular findings.

Want to share my personal experience related to The GLP Lounge Community Rules since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in October 2024 at 287 lbs with prediabetes and hypertension. My endocrinologist prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 14 months later: I am down 37 lbs, my labs have normalized, and I am off 2 of my 3 medications. The The GLP Lounge aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This community helped me every step of the way.

kim_atl_prep — that is really helpful context on The GLP Lounge Community. Follow-up question: did you experience any side effects during this phase?

I am in a similar situation (about to start) and trying to set realistic expectations.
