I respect HPLC_Greg perspective but I think this oversimplifies things a bit. Re: Italy AIFA reimbursement — the effect size varies considerably by population.
I am not saying HPLC_Greg wrong entirely — just that the picture is more nuanced than a blanket statement. The SURMOUNT data specifically shows baseline BMI-dependent responses.

Reading this thread on Italy AIFA reimbursement hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 293 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.
9 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 68 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.
If you are on the fence about Italy AIFA reimburse — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️

I am in a similar situation (about to start) and trying to set realistic expectations.
