Slightly tangential to GLP-1 and inflammatory but Dr.NephBHM_UK reminded me — does anyone have experience combining this with metformin?

I know it is not exactly on-topic but it seems related enough to ask here rather than starting a new thread. Apologies if this has been covered — I did search first.

OP here — wow, did not expect this much response! Thank you all for the thoughtful replies on GLP-1 and inflammatory.

To answer labquiet_amy: I started tracking everything in a spreadsheet from day 1.

Quick update: I will post a proper update thread soon. Thanks again for the evidence-based discussion — this is exactly why I posted in a science-based community. 🙏

Reading this thread on GLP-1 and inflammatory hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 285 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.

11 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 60 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.

If you are on the fence about GLP-1 and inflammato — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️
