I respect DerekSJ_a1c perspective but I think this oversimplifies things a bit. Re: Semaglutide and gallbladder — the effect size varies considerably by population.
I am not saying DerekSJ_a1c wrong entirely — just that the picture is more nuanced than a blanket statement. The SURMOUNT data specifically shows baseline BMI-dependent responses.

Reading this thread on Semaglutide and hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 269 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.
15 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 44 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.
If you are on the fence about Semaglutide and — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️

CryptoCarl — that is really helpful context on Semaglutide and. Follow-up question: did you experience any side effects during this phase?
I am in a similar situation (about to start) and trying to set realistic expectations.
