Just had to share this with someone who would understand — has anyone dealt with food funeral.

Got my latest A1C and I am genuinely emotional right now. 12 months in and the progress is real.

Details in the comments but wanted to start this thread because I think others going through the same thing need to see that it works.

Has anyone dealt with food funeral — I actually dealt with this exact situation a few weeks ago.

Short answer: it depends on your starting point. Longer answer: I wrote about my experience in the dosing forum if you want the full details.

Completely agree with pete_manc_UK. I would add that Has anyone dealt with food also has implications for long-term metabolic health that sometimes get overlooked in these discussions.

In my case, following a similar approach led to significant improvements compared to what I was doing before.

As a pharmacist, I want to add some clinical context to this discussion on Has anyone dealt with food funeral.

Building on what LondonLisa said — the evidence base here is robust. The key publications to reference are from the STEP program[1].

Key clinical points:

  1. Efficacy is dose-dependent and typically requires 4-5 weeks to reach steady state
  2. Side effect profile is predictable and usually manageable with standard protocols
  3. Monitoring should include baseline labs and follow-up at 3-month intervals
  4. Patient education significantly improves outcomes and adherence

Standard disclaimer: this is educational, not individualized medical advice.
