Trying to decide between options regarding has anyone dealt with my dad and could use some input from people who have been there.

My situation: been on sema for 6 months considering a switch.

I have read the wiki and FAQ but real-world experiences would help me make a decision. What would you do in my position?

Gonna push back on this one. Has anyone dealt with my dad had a is not that straightforward in my experience. I have been on this for 12 months and the reality is messier than the trials suggest.

Don't get me wrong — the medication works. But cost accessibility is a real barrier. We should be honest about that.

This is exactly right. chris_chi24 articulated what I have been trying to explain to my doctor for months. The Has anyone dealt with my aspect is the most important factor.

Clinical perspective on Has anyone dealt with my dad had a heart:

I have managed ~150 patients on GLP-1 therapy and this topic comes up frequently. What the data shows — and what I see in practice — is that proper titration prevents most adverse events.

For this specific question, I would recommend: reviewing the relevant clinical guidelines.

I respect LeilaHI perspective but I think this oversimplifies things a bit. Re: Has anyone dealt with my dad — the effect size varies considerably by population.

I am not saying LeilaHI wrong entirely — just that the picture is more nuanced than a blanket statement. The SURMOUNT data specifically shows baseline BMI-dependent responses.
