OP here — wow, did not expect this much response! Thank you all for the thoughtful replies on Weekly check-in thread .

To answer greg_boulder: yes, I am on compounded sema from a 503B pharmacy.

Quick update: things are still going well. Thanks again for the evidence-based discussion — this is exactly why I posted in a science-based community. 🙏

Reading this thread on Weekly check-in thread hits close to home. Night shift nurse — I started at 267 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.

13 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 42 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.

If you are on the fence about Weekly check-in — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️

pete_manc_UK — that is really helpful context on Weekly check-in thread . Follow-up question: what labs did your doctor order to monitor this?

I am in a similar situation (just started) and trying to set realistic expectations.

Reading this thread on Weekly check-in thread hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 289 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.

15 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 64 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.

If you are on the fence about Weekly check-in — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️
