Dr.KarenChen — that is really helpful context on Fibrosis regression on. Follow-up question: did you experience any side effects during this phase?
I am in a similar situation (about to start) and trying to set realistic expectations.

Want to share my personal experience related to Fibrosis regression on GLP-1 since I think it might help others in a similar situation.
I started my GLP-1 journey in March 2025 at 257 lbs with metabolic syndrome. My telehealth provider prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.
Now, 6 months later: I am down 82 lbs, my labs have normalized, and my sleep apnea has improved dramatically. The Fibrosis regression aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.
This forum was my go-to resource throughout.

Just wanted to say — for anyone reading this Fibrosis regression thread who is feeling discouraged: it gets better. The first few weeks are the hardest. Hang in there. 💪
