Relevant to Walking 10,000 steps/day — here is my latest bloodwork comparison:

Key improvements: A1C 8.4% → 5.5%, triglycerides 225 → 95 mg/dL, hsCRP 8.0 → 1.3 mg/L. All on tirzepatide for 17 months.

The inflammatory marker drop is what impresses me most. Consistent with the SELECT trial's cardiovascular findings.

Want to share my personal experience related to Walking 10,000 steps/day since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in March 2025 at 266 lbs with metabolic syndrome. My telehealth provider prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 10 months later: I am down 66 lbs, my labs have normalized, and my sleep apnea has improved dramatically. The Walking 10,000 aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This forum was my go-to resource throughout.

jason_paloalto — that is really helpful context on Walking 10,000 steps/day. Follow-up question: did you change anything about your diet at the same time?

I am in a similar situation (month 2) and trying to set realistic expectations.

Want to share my personal experience related to Walking 10,000 steps/day since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in October 2024 at 283 lbs with prediabetes and hypertension. My endocrinologist prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 16 months later: I am down 73 lbs, my labs have normalized, and I am off 2 of my 3 medications. The Walking 10,000 aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This community helped me every step of the way.

I am in a similar situation (about to start) and trying to set realistic expectations.
