Here's the step-by-step: 1. Go to PeptideMeter's website and navigate to "Community Testing Program" 2. Fill out the application form: - Your forum username (they verify community membership) - Vendor name and website - Compound name - Date of purchase - Upload proof of purchase (screenshot of order, tracking, etc.) 3. Wait for approval — usually 1-3 business days 4. Once approved, you'll get a sample ID and shipping address 5. Ship your sample (you cover shipping costs — usually $10-20) 6. Wait for results Tips for getting approved: - New/untested vendors are prioritized. If you're testing a vendor that already has 10 results in their database, you might get denied for the free program (but can still pay for testing) - GLP-1 peptides are prioritized over other compounds - Active community members with posting history get approved faster - Be honest in your application — they do verify purchase claims

I want to highlight something important about this program: The free testing is specifically designed to fill gaps in the vendor database. PeptideMeter wants data on vendors that HAVEN'T been tested yet. If you're ordering from a well-established, well-tested vendor, your application might be declined for the free program — not because there's anything wrong, but because they already have sufficient data. Where the free program is most valuable: - New vendors that just entered the market - Vendors with only 1-2 existing data points - Vendors with suspicious or controversial reputations - New peptide compounds from established vendors If you've found a new vendor that nobody has tested yet, you are exactly who this program is for. Apply immediately. We have a running list of "vendors needing testing" in the Testing Coordination subforum. If your vendor is on that list, your free test application is almost guaranteed to be approved.

Some limitations to be aware of: What the free test does NOT include: - ❌ Sterility/endotoxin testing (available as paid add-on, ~$150) - ❌ Heavy metals screening (paid, ~$120) - ❌ Full mass spectrometry identification (paid, ~$180) - ❌ Comprehensive stability analysis (paid) Other limitations: - One free test per member per quarter (so max 4 per year) - Only the 5 listed peptides qualify — BPC-157, TB-500, etc. are excluded - International shipping costs are on you - Results WILL be published — you can't request private/unpublished results through the free program For most people testing a GLP-1 peptide from a newer vendor, the free test covers exactly what you need: purity, identity, and approximate dosing. If all three check out, you're probably good. If the free test raises concerns (low purity, identity mismatch, significant underdosing), you might want to follow up with a paid comprehensive panel through PeptideMeter or Janoshik.

This is amazing. I literally just ordered tirzepatide from a vendor I found on another forum — no test results exist for them anywhere. Going to apply for the free test today. Thank you for laying all this out!

That's exactly the kind of situation this program was built for. Get that sample tested before you use it. One thing I'll add: PeptideMeter's turnaround time has been improving steadily. When the program first launched, it was 15-20 business days for results. Now it seems to be under 10 days in most cases. They've apparently invested in additional equipment and personnel. The combination of PeptideMeter's free testing for initial screening and Janoshik's paid testing for comprehensive analysis gives us a really solid two-tier testing ecosystem. Use both if you can. > The best time to test a peptide is before you inject it. The second best time is now. Good luck with your submission! Report back with the results. 🍀
