I respect emma_london perspective but I think this oversimplifies things a bit. Re: Heart rate increase on GLP-1 — the effect size varies considerably by population.
I am not saying emma_london wrong entirely — just that the picture is more nuanced than a blanket statement. The SURMOUNT data specifically shows baseline BMI-dependent responses.

Reading this thread on Heart rate increase on hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 285 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.
11 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 60 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.
If you are on the fence about Heart rate increase — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️
